Depends on your attitude I suppose.
Like, when its really cold, I wear like 2 long sleeve shirts, a hoodie, 3 pairs of socks, and 2-3 pairs of sweat/gi pants under my garb! (Good thing garb is baggy!) I don't get cold and can have fun fighting. Fighting in the snow is so awesome. You know what?!?!? I would love to fight in a blizzaga! That would be sweet.
When it is super hot it is also cool to fight, but I have learned just to drink tons of water, the colder the better. Not only does it hydrate you, it cools down your core body temperature. Also, you have to accustom your body to the heat. Doing this allowed me and Raslin to train in full armor in temperatures between 95-100 degrees in full, black leather armor! And it didn't hurt us a bit! Likewise, we got to where wearing our armor in the heat didn't feel too bad at all, almost like a second skin!
And I love to fight in the rain the most (as long as I have a dry place and clothes within a 10 minute drive). In the rain you can fight so hard becasue you stay cool. Its like, refreshing! The rain is the bestest (snow is a close second).
But see, that is my attitude on the matter, not right necessarily, but my attitude. If no one is going to go to battle becasue of the weather then I won't go, cause you need at least one person there to fight!!
Being in a leadership position you have to take the responsibility of making sure all your people are doing the appropriate things for the weather, that can be a hassle too! But if you love fighting, it is totally worth it.
