Cort and I were chatting about ads on campus. Here are some of the ideas we have . . . 1. All college kids have a printing quota. we can use it at the end of the semester and get some black and white ads up. so its not dark in the mornings anymore...but being as it is 6 (the time practice usually ends) and the moon has been out for quite a while i'm thinking we should have some words...namely:

1. when can we practice inside / be a school club
2. should be alter practice times.

i think we should keep them the same, provided we can go inside somewhere, unless its really nice out or something

So, Chi Omega saw our article in the paper, and, due to this year's homecoming theme being Miners of the Round Table, were wondering if we would fight with them and/or for them at their house's front yard and/or roof this Thursday at one of their homecoming parties. I think this is a pretty efficient way to make shields assuming you make them 4 at a time. -1 sheet of 4'x8', 3/8" plywood. Cut into 2'x3' squares. Yielding 4 cores. I would prefer to bevel the bottom edge because I believe it is a more efficient design, but it would just be more cutting. After these shield blanks are cut, that would leave 1'x8' of plywood left that could be made into bucklers for spearmen or archers... -1 roll of blue foam is ~2'x6', so 1 roll would make 2 layers ...

blue sword for sale

I'm selling a new sword i just made. it is made from an extra thick fun noodle, and so far has help up very well through a few hard hitting fights. Here is the break down -blade length 30.5" -total length 40.5 -green stappy tip -counter weighted -cover included normally i'd ask for about 7, but since it is a fun noodle experiment i'm only asking 5. anyone interested? obviously i will wait until we r in rolla so you can look at it for yourselves

I'm not sure what the status of our constitution is, but I took the liberty of writing up a manual of arms for Boffer Club. Its almost a carbon copy of the Dagorhir rules set current to 2009 Rag War Council. However, the manual of arms I drafted does NOT include construction rules. That I'm drafting as a separate document simply for the ease of reading. We will be having our regularly scheduled practices during dead week. However, the wednesday of 5/13 there will be no practice due to finals.

As for practices during the summer, its going to be up to the people staying in Rolla during those months when and where practices will be held.

I think it was Odin who asked me this specifically, but I thought I would post it just in case someone else wanted to know, too. "3. Squire: --A squire must be apprenticed to a knight as a squire for 4 months minimum before attempting to mark for knighthood." Being as it's 25 degrees at best outside, practice would be canceled-- EXCEPT (that's right, pay attention) that tonight from 7:30 to 8:30, Miner Rec is free game. We'll want to get there as early as possible (seven or sooner) to secure us some playing ground, and if that can't be done, we'll go to the place across the street again.

TL;DR: Practice at Miner Rec, not the Puck.
