So, I have been using a disc or tombstone shaped pommel on some of my weapons for a while, and felt I should share with the rest of you why I love them for spears.

I have tried to write this out repeatedly and just succeeded to confuse the hell outta myself, and I knew what I was trying to say. So I figured it would REALLY confuse you guys. So instead I made a video and explained what I meant, and demonstrated what I meant.

This all is in regards to using the spear one handed.

The pommel shape allows you to hold hte spear about a foot from the pommel, and rest the pommel under your fore-arm. This gives you more control, and full use of you fore-arm, biceps and bone structure.

This is all just my opinion, based on trail and error, and personal experience. use it or don't, but it has helped me ALOT.

I love that pommel, it's how i do all my bel/dag weapons.
