 Beveling striking edges.

PostSubject: Beveling striking edges.   Fri Aug 14, 2009 6:55 am

From what I understand of the rules, the striking edge of a bladed weapon must be at least 1.25" wide. But I've seen a few sword tutorials that call for beveling the edge until it appears to be thinner than that. So I'm confused. What do weapons checkers look for when they're checking the dimensions of the weapon?

Weapons checkers are 50/50 on this from what I've noticed. As long as the base of the "beveled" part is min. dimensions you should be able to get away with beveling the edges.
