| I made a tower shield over the summer, only I managed to make it so that the bottom of the shield will lean towards me whenever I use it. Any advise on how to fix it? |

| I would angle the handles more steeply, I like handles around 30 degrees above horizontal. If you take your left arm and make a fist, then do a kind of salute where you bring your fist to your chest, you can gauge how steep you can comfortably mount a handle, and the steeper you make it the more control you'll have over the bottom. |

| Tighten the straps. A good set of tight straps will improveyour shield work amazingly. _________________ Making money the old fashion way...killing for it.

^This^. The straps should be as tight as you can get then, especially the one for your fist. You want the back of the shield to fit snugly against your knuckles so that rotating your wrist rotates the shield. unfortunately, there's not much else I know of that you can do. My first tower shield had this problem, and that's all I could do about it. Basically any shield that's heavier on the bottom than the top will do this. (meaning basically any tower shield that has arm straps) You just have to build up your arm so that you can hold it out away from your body with your wrist. |

| how would ya recommend to tighten straps? I just used a taekwondo belt (none matter 'cept for my black belt) tried to tighten by just adding layers of foam... I now have 3 layers on my arm and 4 for my hand |

| the only other thing I could think of is to drill another 2 holes in my shield and attach a strap to be on my shoulder |

| personally i think adding the layers of foam under the straps is making the problem bigger. my towershield also leans in a little at the bottom too, i would take off ur straps, and make them tighter by leaving less slack to hold onto. i highly recommend putting on a hoodie and then making ur straps snug to that, that way u still can fight in the cooler weather. YOu don't have to drill new holes, just make new holes in ur handles that are further in _________________ There ain't no rest for the wicked
