So, it seems like EVA is like the mythril of the Dagorhir world. I've hear a lot about its qualities, as well as how expensive it is. I'd like to use some for at least a couple of weapons, but I'd like to get the best deal on it that I can find. If I can't find it for less than $30 for 47" of 1/2" thickness like I found on one website, then I'll probably just pass on it for a while. Does anyone know where to get good deals on EVA? I did a search for posts on EVA with no results, so I thought I'd ask.

If you are getting it from bestdagstuff.com don't do it. I have and many others across the nation have had bad experiences crafting with said foam. They sent out emails explaining how it's suppose to be used to make swords their way after getting many complaints but thats not what I bought the foam for. It's good for anything that doesn't attach to a core. I've heard that you can get it online EVA online easy, not as easy as I've been told. I have acquired full inch EVA from a friend. Seconded. AMfoam is what the barbarians used in their 2nd gen. weapons. I've never personally contacted them, but Jim said they had some good deals.

However, I'm willing to bet Jim ordered in bulk...
