It's going to be a loooooooong time before we're an official organization.

Basically, the advisor is just supposed to help with the really important stuff, which in our case would be bad injuries, probably.

what else do we have to do to become an official organization?

We need to actually submit a constitution, first. It then has to go through individual rewiew by the RSO committee, which will take at least an hour per person. They will read it when they get through the 30 or so other organizations that are seeking RSO status. The committee then has to convene to discuss our constitution. If there's anything they want changed, they send it back to us and the process repeats. The whole process takes at least one semester, but it's usually a two semester deal.

Luckily, we can schedule meetings with a few people on the committee, and they can review our constitution with us, which can save a huuuuge amount of time by letting us know about problems immediately.

LAME! good thing that we have dag as a structure base.

Yeah it is, it would help if we actually had people who would give up what times they are available to meet to talk about the constitution though. Or if we had more people who were interested in it. I have it on my computer but I am not sure what else it needs. Not only that but there are some sections I need help with.

Alright Done with the tweaks and whatnot to the constitution. At least the ones that we discussed during the meeting. So now we need to meet again.

And I'm available only for a couple of hours max due to massive amounts of midterm work, but I'm basically free anytime after 12:30PM.

So I need 75% of the Boffer Club to sign the document before I can turn it in, so I need at least 10 people, counting myself to sign the constitution. I would prefer it if this happened the first week of school, and you should too. I will have the Constitution with me at all times during the first week of school, so if 10 of you could contact me with a time and place to meet me so we can get this thing signed and turned in, that would be great.
