I am currently redoing the Boffer Club constitution and I think it is coming along nicely. However if anyone would like to read over what I have at anytime tell me and I will start sending it to you periodically. I will need an email address though and you will need Microsoft Office 2007. I will also check this forum daily for any advice as to what to add to the constitution or any problems with it, for those of you reading it, along with other ideas for what to add where. Please be detailed if you have an idea.

Just so everyone knows I don't think this is going to be short, it may even take all semester, and for those of us working on it, we still have classes and cannot devote all of our time to the constitution.
I would like you to know that I spend at least an hour on it each night but I still have homework and 2 major projects that I have to do this semester as well. So all help is welcome.

first question.... during elections, a nominee recieves the position by a:

1. 2/3 vote
2. simple majority (51%)
3. 2/3 vote or simple majority

I think its just simple majority.

What shall a "quorum" be defined as?

1. 50% of all members
2. 75% of all members
3. other (please describe)

a quorum is, from what i understand, a good majority of a body (around 2/3).

Alright, so honestly I have no idea who reads this, BUT, I have the constitution done as much as possible without further input. He agreed. Completely agreed and he will sign or we can put his name on the constitution or whatever when it is done or the time comes or whatever. And if you don't like the advisor, too bad, at least we have one. If you didn't want him you should've went asking yourself.

Hey, I think Dr. Leach is a pretty cool guy. eh teaches math, and doesn't afraid of anything.

All joking aside though, that's awesome. I'll have to give you the Advisor consent form for him to sign.
