| As the evening sun sank beyond the horizon, a lone ship sailed from Haven into the twilight. the captain -the only man left aboard- reflected on the misery he had seen. the bitter feuding of politics, the lack of committal from the pesantry, he had seen it before. his crew abandoning him and the Cutlass was the final blow for him. resigning himself to the thought that things would never change, he set sail one last time and was lost to the ocean of eternity and greif. Now, three months later, a cold wind from the north east has brought the smell of pine and a new ship to the isle of Haven. The dragons head carved into the bow gives testament to the ferocity of the nation it left behind. the figure at the rudder stands defiant of all who would hinder his quest. his eyes radiate an inner determination and wisdom that is rare for one of his age. as the ship grounds itself on the beach, he leaps onto the sand and kneels, giving a prayer to the All-Father before shouting, "I am Tygreive Knudson! I name this land my home and my grave by the will of the All-Father Odin! May those who dispute my right or threaten my home challenge me, and know my cause true as their heads litter the battlefield!" Tygreive, son of Knud, son of Erik. Here to earn his honor, and his pride.
