Let it be known

Let it known that this Sunday November second marks the greater Haven holiday of Saints day. This holiday marks the occurrence of several monumental events in Havens history that all occurred on the same day. The day commemorates; the death of the evil pagan king Aohd, the end of the Long Siege, the acquisition of much of the pagan king's land, the battle miracle, the pig miracle, and the conversion to Christianity of the First great King of Haven. This day is celebrated by battle and a feast centered around Ham. Whether we celebrate it or not is up to the current Lord of Haven though.

Ie: We're trying to have a feast this Sunday. The food will be centered around ham dishes. DeMadrid actually had a really cool story to go along with this holiday idea, and I hope you'll post it; I was definitely intrigued.

If the other provinces can't put this together in time, don't worry about it too much, but down in Rolla we're going to attempt to celebrate. ^.^

The story is coming along but I write obscenely slowly, seriously I think for about a minute before writing a sentence. I wanted to get the proclamation up first so everyone could get ready

Its in the history to be written, and the reason it is in news is because if Iohn, Kairi and the rest of the realm are fine with it it would make a fine annual holiday for Haven. After all what is a land without its culture? Oddly enough I had no idea that day was saints day before I looked it up.

Don't get defensive, Vala. O.o No one said we ever DID have a King. He's writing his own version of our history, and if we have problems with it, we can adjust it later. This is just a fun idea to give the realm something to do. As I previously stated, if you don't want to celebrate or can't in time, that's fine. It's just something we're doing here in Rolla that we thought might be fun to try and spread to you guys as well.

lol perhaps I should of mentioned the first great king was the only king(a joke in Haven) and he was a king for only one year. Bah I really need to get done with differential equations so I can detail all of this.
