Ok so here is my top ten ranking idea in writing....

Mission
This is meant to encourage friendly competition, gain experience fighting other weapon sets, and help better ourselves as fighters.

Handing out armbands
Tournament, top ten win the armbands of their place. i know we didn't do this in rolla, but honestly it doesn't really matter a whole lot because it will work itself out in a few weeks

Moving up in Rank
You move up by challenging a fighter of higher rank (see below for more details). Once the challenge is accepted (it can be declined/posponed if the fighter is injured or not in fighting condition.), then those fighters select their weapons sets and duel (best 2/3).

*The dueling circle size is agreed upon by the fighters prior to the duel.

If the challenger (lower ranked) wins, then the fighters SWITCH armbands, even if the higher ranked fighter is more than one rank above the challenger.

Also, the higher ranked person gets to duel before the lower..so if the number 4 wants to challenge the number 3, and the number 3 wants to go for number 2, the 3 vs. 2 fight goes first.

If the challenger loses he may not challenge again until next practice

*A challenger can be in only one ranking duel per practice.

Conditions on staying ranked
1. winning your duels helps
2. staying active. if you are absent for too long you may be stripped of rank, if so then everyone moves up one rank and a new 10 is put in place
3. Be a good sport--not really a condition, but if you actions are found to be unacceptable by the group, then the group reserves the right to remove ur rank.

THIS IS MEANT TO HELP US GROW NOT TO PUT OTHERS DOWN
it is my hope to see the rank constantly changing as fighters strive to move ahead, recover spots, or simply hold their ground.

I assume that if you lose a challenge, you keep your same ranks?

@Kairi - Yes, if you lose you keep the same ranks. The only downside of losing is you have to wait until next practice to challenge again. but you can still be challenged that practice.

@Tyr - I have no problem with you starting this up for where you guys are ! But for effectiveness sake i think it makes sense to keep all the ranks in the same area. if you can down and got number 6, then left. we would be kinda incomplete.

I'm going to write down everyone's numbers at our next practice. Every time you gain a new one, you should inform me so I can keep track. I'll probably post the results here periodically so everyone can see, if Odin agrees to that.

.... the only problem i see tith this is like odin said if tyr came down got 6 and left then what happens over the summer when everybody leaves?

over the summer the rolla ranks are suspended until next semester. i prolly should have started it then but i didn't want to forget, each area can have their own elite. or whatever they want to call it.
