| Not really. In general most farm stores and Tractor supply companies carry the thin 1/4" and 3/8" fiberglass electric fence posts. You can ask your farm store about it and they can order thicker fiberglass, but they don't really like to. The best thing to make a Glaive out of is a fiberglass Bandshoppe pole from Bandshoppe.com. | |

| There's an MFA(Farmer's Exchange) in Rolla that carries 1/2" fiberglass up to 6' long. if you call around, I'm sure you can find a place in the area that carries something similar. They're used as fence posts, so ask if they carry fiberglass fencing, and in what sizes. | |

| MFA's 1" diameter fiberglass is WAY too heavy for polearms. Frankly, I wouldn't use it for anything. If you want to build a polearm, you might as well use PVC unless you want to spend $$$ on shipping for a Bandeshoppe pole. Just remember the flex rule for swung weapons. Also, anything taller than yourself will be difficult to wield properly (spears are exempt from this as they are not "swung").
As per reds, you can go to Tractor Supply Co. on north 291 (big red building, can't miss it). They have 3/8" fiberglass you can double up to make a min. length red sword (just like the girls' reds).

E if you would like it i would give it to you, since yours no pass ) but yeah, and the glaive thing, i was looking for stability over weight, i can effectively use a glaive taller than me cause i have had the trainin too, but i'll try this out first, thanks guys

| Might I ask where you learned how to fight with a glaive? It'd be a great resource. | |

| I think a glaive should be taller than the wielder and we do excellent with them. A red sword...I'm not sure about the height to effectiveness. I've never used a red sword myself because, for me, a glaive is much more effective. | |

| 3/8" has way to much flex. You'd want something more along the lines of 1/2" for any longer blues. | |

| There are links on the page that take you down to the prices of various thicknesses. They have:
3/8 in., 4 ft. rod, $1.33, but I'd go to a local store for that. And you're right, it does have too much flex.
1/2 in., 4 ft. rod, $1.89, local stores would probably offer that too.
5/8 in., 6 ft. rod, $4.43, I don't know much about local stores, so I don't know the availability of something like this. Or anything after it, for that matter.
11/16 in., 8 ft. rod, $9.59, which seems like a lot to pay for one rod of fiberglass. I'd hope it's really light and really sturdy.
Also, I think these posts have holes drilled in them. I don't know how that would affect their usefulness.
