Tea-Green Chai Spice is the best for colds
Zink/Zycam- the cure for the common cold
Dayquill- covers symtoms but does not realy help
Soup!!!
More tea take in tons of food and fluids
Avoid surgars cold and dairy product



I'm not a doctor I just used to get sick alot tongue

oh there is an herb called stinging nettle that you can get at any heath food store that clears up sinuses

LOTS of water. I usually take 8-10 days to lose a cold, I got rid of one in 3 drinking 2 gallons + a day at the beginning of the semester. It's really good for your immune system to remain hydrated. Also try and keep your sinuses clear all the time, I.E. blow your nose often and take decongestants, because depending on exactly what you have the infection is probably residing in the mucous and drips down into your throat, leading to a sore throat. If you can keep yourelf breathing clearly through your nose for more than a couple of days (and you are really dealing with a cold, not the flue or some other illness), you should be all right. Also, its good to exercise or play video games or do something else that gets your heart pumping for a small amount of time (as opposed to resting constantly) each day, the improved circulation helps your immune system as well. If the cold last more than a week and a half, see a doctor.

My best advice that I don't think has been mentioned yet is plenty of rest. Make sure you're getting a full 8-10 hours of sleep minimum. And get some naps in here and there (or just take it easy) when you're able.
That's what always helps me out. (:

so um yeah its pretty much gone lol. water+ orange juice+ tea+ 12 hours of sleep x3 days and im pretty much good just the whole coughing up stuff left thank you all ^^
