Her tears eloquent with grief, Madea looked out upon the Isle of Blrition. The beloved Isle where she was born and raised...until now. Cast out, Madea was afloat on a tiny black boat with a tiny black sail. It was thought that the devil would note her dark vehicle and take her to the hellish depths of the sea. However, if Madea was to survive her aimless voyage, the village had taken precautions to ensure she was never fully trusted, despite the fact that her tail now proclaimed her oddness to the world. She felt for the mark the villagers had given her. A cresent moon, marking her as inconstant as the ever-changing face of the moon.

Madea straightened up as she cleared the rocky shores of her home. She stopped crying, she would change. she had to now. The daggerboard of her little vessel was thrust into place and the tiny ship cut straight through the growing swells, but with no destination. She didn't care any more. She jut tacked her sheet and headed in the direction of the rising sun.

After three hours of sailing as straight as she could without tools or guidance, Madea could not help but think of what had become of her.

She was born in the Realm of the Pechs, the Painted Ones, in Brition to Brighid and Wilium, two promient figures in the village. Because of the nature of her parents- her mother and grandmother were accomplished hedgewitches, the village people often said that Madea was born to greatness...or strangeness. Madea's grandmother, the town healer, who was often known only as the hedgewitch, always maintained that Madea had been born during a sunshower and that it should have been a good sign, but that trails- like clouds- must always come first.

On her sixteenth birthday, young Madea had not felt well. She went to visit her Hadgewitch complaiing of a splitting headache, fever and achin in all of her joints. Her grandmother did what she could to ease these symptoms, but could not completely cure Madea of her maladies. She lay in a high fever for most of the day and all of the night.

A few minutes before midnight, as the Hadgewitch was changing the compress on Madea's forehead, the fevered girl sat bolt upright and the compress fell to the floor.

"what is it child?" the Hedgewithch asked.

Madea's eyes rolled backwards sickly then closed heavilly. her body shuddered. A voice gurgled out from Madea's lips but was not her own. This other voice was slow and even, measured and tempered over hundreds of years. "I am no child, witch." Madea's limbs twitched grossly as if she were a marrionette with the strings being jerked violently. "I am your unforgiven one. I am Malgrave the Betrayed, and I will have this form with which to destroy these people."

"Malgrave you trecherous fox! You were not betrayed. Your malice for we Pachs only binds you to the earth, Slaugh!" snarled the Hedgewitch, using the tradtional name for such malevolent spirits. She, as many of the elders, knew Malgrave's tale of double crossing. every Realm that called the Isle home knew of his trechery.

"A fox am I? Well then..." Malgrave caused Madea's body to slide of the cot she rested on and stand before her grandmother, her eyes became yellow and canine while a tail began to sprout from her backside.

Outraged that her own blood should be so possessed, the Hedgewitch called on the power of her ancesters and took a pinch of powder from the pouch that hung around her neck. She threw the powder over Madea. "I will not let you turn this child into a monster like you, Slaugh! Freeze your form!"

The voice speaking through madea screamed its rage and caused Madea to run out the front door of the healer's house. The hedgewitch quickly followed her into the street. By the time the elderly woman had caught up to the younger girl, three cottages were laready on fire and the townspeople were pouring out of their homes to stop Madea from setting more blazes.

"what is the meaning of this?" the Elder asked of the Hedgewitch, "your granddaughter has surely lost her mind!"

"The child is possessed! Do not harm her! She knows not what she does!" But her words were not being heeded by the rest of the townspeople. The men streamed forth with whatever weapons they could find nearby, farming and hunting tools for the most part. the populace was unable to harm Madea however, because she was standing on the roof of the town meeting building with a torch in her hand, clasped so hard the skin on her knuckles was splitting- or perhaps it was the demon's hand breaking the skin. When she saw the Elder conversing with the Hedgewitch, a malevolent smile spread across her once human face and a growl tore from her chest and over her lips. "You!" the low voice snarled and her pale hand pointed the torch towards the Elder. "Child of my murderer! I shall destory you with your village!" The possessed girl leapt from the roof of the building, landing with demonic grace and brandishing the torch at the Elder.

"I have done nothing to you child. Why harm me?" there was unbridled fear in his voice as he cowered before the young girl.

"DOUBLE CROSSER! You shall die!" with that she struck the elder across the face with her burning torch. He fell to the ground as his face sizzled. A farmer who had been standing in shock found his strength in watching this assault and struck madea in the side with the shovel he carried. She cried out in her other voice and fell across the Elder even as he writhed in pain. Quickly she scrambled back to her knees and tore at the farmer's stomach with her fingernails. When he fell to the ground, his organs exposed, all eyes were on Madea. She brought the bloody lump of flesh to her lips and took bite.

To be continued... ^.^

(Turrin this is for you...)Evil or Very Mad Madea chewed through the lump slowly as the other townsfolk looked on in abject horror. As she finished, she licked her lips sweetly and wiped her bloody fingers on her green dress. She smiled maliciously at the crowd and searched for a net victim. A young man who was said to be rather handsome and good with women was standing the closest. He was pale as he watched his uncle writhe and bleed from the wound in his trunk. Madea lunged at him and took him down with a single blow. In the half a second it took, She had taken out four clean chunks of his pretty face and sprayed his golden colored hair with gore.

...more soon. I just wanted to get that part out of the way... Razz
