Joining is not limited to Haven Citizens, but only Haven citizens can hold ranks

Requirments for joining are meant to allow only skilled fighters to be permitted to enter. If a cantidate fails a test to enter, they may try again on the next practice.

To join and become a member ONE of the following:

1. Take on the entire league by yourself and kill a set number of members. (number subject to alteration depending on how many are fighting)
2. Pass the combat trial.
3. Successfully fulfill a contract…THE FIRST TIME! (While in battle kill a specific target or number of people, as decided by The League WITHOUT DYING IN THE ATTEMPT (subject to alteration by the Commander or Lord)

Once one of these has been accomplished, the fighter is considered a member, and must fight regularly with the unit for a time period before he is able to move up in rank.
