| I was talking to Crux about it today, and what he envisioned for Truman boffer fighting was an organization that simply introduces new people to the concept of boffer fighting, including Amtgard, Dagorhir and Belegarth, without claiming a specific affiliation to any one entity in any one style of boffer fighting. I think it's a great idea. I think it's fair to expose new individuals to a variety and let them choose whichever they prefer. I'll support and advertise Haven, of course, but I can't make anyone join. I just wanted to let Haven's officials know that even if I'm able to maintain citizen status, the Truman area will probably never really become a Haven province. If anything it'll probably be a mercenary group. |

| Yeah, I figure, different people like different styles, plus college is a place to learn, not to commit. I plan on seeing what type of boffer groups exist wherever i go after i graduate (hoping dag or bel) and then join from their, unless i find an inter-realm company like the uruks or something that i really like, or i've thought about starting a mercenary company. |

| Yeah, I've wondered myself what will happen when we leave college. Most of the set realms in the organization are comprised of people who actually live in the area. Haven is based in Rolla now, but unless our leaders decide to live in Rolla, it probably won't be that way for long. I don't know much about other chapters, but I wonder how many of them have provinces that span the country. We'll just have to see what happens as the future unfolds. |

| Boffer Club isn't supposed to be for just Dagorhir. It's for any foam fighting organization that wants to network through us. However, currently there aren't any other groups on campus (no one does Bel or Amt, though we do know one Nero guy). As such, we basically just use Dag rules and have Dag practices. Also: There's nothing wrong with a mercenary group fighting for our realm, so no worries. Whatever happens, happens. (: _________________ I am because I need to be.

| Well, if I start a mercenary group it would fight for whoever makes us the best offer hehe. |

| Is your Boffer Club all Haven members? That was the impression I was under. I thought you guys had like 30 new recruits or something. |

| No, not all of them are Haven citizens. We have 17 people who have dedicated themselves to Haven, and roughly 15 people who randomly make an appearance (about 10 of those come on a pretty regular basis). We don't force it, but we leave the option very open. It's easier for us to naturally get new members, though, because we have no other groups to compete with. _________________ I am because I need to be.

| Yeah, I put Haven out there, and Crux said he'd fight with us at Gates, but I probably won't get a lot of actual recruitment. We're a pretty small group here, from what I can tell. We had about 8 or 9 people today, and a few others I've seen a few times. Crux can give a better idea of how many people usually show up, because I didn't go very much last semester. If you imagine what it was like back in Blue Springs before we left for college, I think that's a pretty good idea of what it's like here. But we'll see what happens over the next few years. |
