WAR!

Hey, Just so I have a general idea, When will Rolla crew and any others from Haven be arriving? If you guys make it up here for like friday battles, I'd like to do the tourneys that night, before everyone is wore out. It'll make it more satisfying when I win

We all have classes friday and so far the general consensus is to not skip classes. Which means we would be leaving around 4:00 pm on friday. Bringing our arrival time to about 7:00 pm, shortly before nightfall. I for one would want to set up camp at that time because I hate setting up camp in the dark.

However, if a few people decide to skip, we could theoretically arrive anywhere from noon to 3:00.

Lol, well. its only the one day. just one time lol. :] and unlike the past, there will be battles all day friday. so arriving sooner gives you 2 days of battle as opposed to one.

i'll not be skipping modern physics...so i'll be ready to leave anytime after 3:30 or so

For those who have morning classes, I may be able to leave at noon.

are we doing the weapons tent again?

I have a red and green, somewhat period pavilion tent that I'll set up near the field for us to keep weapons under and use for shade.

I'll be able to leave at noon as well.

Ok, there has been a MAJOR change this time. The "dry camp initiative". Igit and I are in charge of the back 25% of the site and all the sites upon the back trail are officially dry campsites. I will be ALOT stricter enforcing this than ever has been in the past. Havens Current site is NOT with-in the dry camp portion. If you would like a spot with-in the dry area, just let me know and we can get you somthing set up.

I'd be cool being in the dry camp area, but that kind of depends on where it's located. Do you have a map (or can you throw us a link to one)?

Iohn, being stupid, is forgetting that we both have a class from 3-4PM on Friday. -.- So we will NOT be leaving early. You can't skip medieval history class to attend a medieval event. Not cool.

it IS completely acceptable to do.. consider it a fieldtrip

Yeah, you should talk to your professor. Maybe he'll give you extra credit if you come back and write a report or something about it. You'd be surprised at how flexible some of the profs on campus can be. You'll never know until you ask.

I wouldn't mind if Haven was a wet camp, since I'm of age and would probably like to enjoy a beer or two friday and saturday night. We are, after all, a college group, and not a high school group anymore. Of course, we still won't be letting minors drink in camp.

We'll have half of the camp be dry, and half wet, then we'll have people smuggle alcohol into the dry side and bribe the officials, eventually it'll get to the point where we have to form a Haven version of the FBI

and then you can get extra credit for reenacting prohibition

I would show you a map.... but thier friggen site is down... as always.... You can always choose to call your site dry or wet as you feel. you do not HAVE to be with-in the dry camp area to be dry.

you can always just holler for security if you need help with a drunk. I always wanted to toss someone in the sewage lagoon.....
