I really want to see it when i come down to Rolla tonight.

My wife and friends went in costume to the prescreening party last night at 12:05. OK so technically it was this morning....

I used to feel that way too, especially with as crappy as the theater here is. The only movie I ever watched at the theater here was 300, but I have to admit, it was totally worth the eight bucks to see it on the big screen. I will almost never pay for a movie, but I think this will be one of those that's actually worth it. Of course, if you aren't a fan of the novel, or you're not psyched about seeing it on the big screen, then you are better off just pirating it. Wait, did I say "pirating?" I meant "obtaining a copy legally through the purchase of a DVD from an authorized re-seller"

To everyone else: Kat and I are planning to go to the 10:30 showing tonight. I remember 300 sold out on opening night, so if you are planning to go, I'd pick up tickets in advance, and show up early so you can get a good seat. There are four showings, so it may not be a problem tonight, but you never know.
P.S. box office opens @ 4PM.

I finally went and saw it with Shawn today. It was a lot better than I expected. The ending, loved it. It was like Rorschach's last FU. He still did what he wanted in the end.
Though, man...the nudity. I actually didn't enjoy any of it sadly.
I found Mr. Manhattan to be a very entertainingly interesting character. Rorschach's still cooler though. ^_~ I need to read the comics now...I think it'll help me understand a lot more.
the camera angles they incorporated into each scene was brilliant in my opinion. I think those were my favorite parts over all, the interesting combination of angles and presentations of the scenes to make a point or to show something a certain way. Awesome.

wtf is exactly what expected

The sound track was amazing, and very appropriate/hilarious. Also, I like that they kept the nudity in their, but it makes a lot more sense if you've read it first.

It's been a while since i read it, so i dont remember all of it, but it seemed like they followed the book pretty well with the movie. I thought they rushed the chapter on Rorschach though.

They did, however, to the overall story they did very well. Things they cut weren't essential to the plot, however awesome they may have been.
